FIRST-TEAM RIGHT WINGERS IN FIFA 22
ANTONY
- 24/02/2000
- AFC Ajax (NED)
- Brazil
Antony is a 5* skiller that guarantees fun. Throw in 93 pace and 87 dribbling, and the Brazilian winger turns into the most devastating counter-attacking threats in the game.
The Ajax youngster could become even better if you can improve his shooting, but nonetheless, if you are a looking for a right winger with the skill to cut inside off the flank and be influential in the final third, look no further than Antony.

FEDERICO CHIESA
- 25/10/1997
- Juventus (ITA)
- Italy
An ACL injury curtailed Federico Chiesa’s second season at Juventus after the Italian winger helped propel his nation to victory at Euro 2020 last summer. But in FIFA 22, he is one of the most explosive wide players in the game.
Chiesa combines high level speed and technical quality with excellent shooting; the full trifecta of excellence you need for an attacking wide player. His defensive skills are lacking, but that doesn’t really matter, does it? Unless you were perhaps intending to play him in a 3-5-2.

FERRAN TORRES
- 29/02/2000
- FC Barcelona (ESP)
- Spain
Ferran Torres has developed from his time at Valencia as a traditional wide right midfielder into a devastating attacker that can play on the right, left, or through the middle. Now he is at Barcelona, playing predominantly on the left. However, in game, he is a designated right-winger.
He is a delightfully smooth player. A developing goal scorer that is languid in possession, while he also surprises with his height, speed and technical proficiency at his size.

YOUNG RIGHT WINGERS FOR THE FUTURE IN FIFA 22
RAYAN CHERKI
- 17/08/2003
- Olympique Lyonnais (FRA)
- France
The uber talented Rayan Cherki is a must have youngster in FIFA 22 Career Mode. 5* skills and 5* weak foot are just the start of what should become one of the most dominant technically gifted wingers in the game should you develop him to his full potential.
As a 73 rated player he already has 83 dribbling, and while other parts of his game are somewhat lacking (particularly on the defensive end), he is a worthwhile signing purely for entertainment purposes.

KAYKY
- 11/06/2003
- Manchester City (ENG)
- Brazil
Manchester City’s youth set-up is already stacked with talent, but that did not stop them from spending over €10 million beefing it up with the signing of Kayky from Fluminense. The Brazilian has settled in well to life at City, even making his senior debut for the club this season.
He brings lightning speed and solid technique for a player that only has a 66 overall rating. But with the potential to increase that all the way up to 87, Kayky is a potential star of the future. The main concern will be his physical attributes, as well as medium/low work rates.

MATÍAS SOULÉ
- 15/04/2003
- Juventus (ITA)
- Argentina
Juventus unearthed a real gem when they were able to land Matias Soule on a free transfer from Velez Sarsfield in 2020. Since his arrival in Turin, the Argentine winger has gone from strength to strength, moulding his game into something reminiscent of his compatriot Paulo Dybala.
Soule has a wand of a left foot, with many of his best moves predicated on his ball striking technique that results in excellent curling shots and crosses. 4* skills and 4* weak foot gives you a lot to work with if you sign him in FIFA 22 Career Mode, with his technical quality being his most obvious strength.

WHAT ARE FIFA WONDERKIDS?
Wonderkids are what every Career Mode manager looks for in FIFA. They’re young prospects – usually aged 16 to 19 – that have elite-level potential in the game. Freddy Adu is a prominent example for older managers, while Youssoufa Moukoko is a current case. They’re the superstar youngsters that are must-buys on every save.
But it’s also subjective. A wonderkid at Accrington Stanley is completely different to a wonderkid at Manchester City. Essentially, the surroundings dictate the status.
WHAT MAKES A GOOD RIGHT WINGER IN FIFA 22?
The answer to this question depends on your team, its style, and the role you want the right winger to fulfill. You may want a goal scorer, a dribbler, a creative threat, or one that combines all three.
The basis remains fairly similar across all three roles, though – you want a right winger that is mobile and intelligent, capable of executing the basic responsibilites of the RW.
HOW DO YOU FIND THE BEST RIGHT WINGERS IN FIFA 22?
You can do so by utilising the player search tool, which enables you to specify the certain variables you’re looking for in your player – from age to specific attributes.
Make the most of your scouts, too. Send them to look for the best young right wingers by defining their criteria – specifying under-23, four-start potential, etc. Alternatively, just scour the Scouted Football website.
HOW DO YOU DEVELOP YOUNG RIGHT WINGERS IN FIFA 22?
As always, pathways are paramount. You have to make sure that your youngsters have access to meaningful minutes at the appropriate levels. If you have a first-team ready talent, phase him into the team gradually, during pre-season ideally.
If your prospect needs a bit more polishing, the loan system is a valuable tool. But pathways to senior level minutes are key. Assess your youngsters on a case-by-case basis, decide what they need, and enact your decision.
The highest rated attacking midfielders in FIFA 22 are Lionel Messi, Mohamed Salah, Ángel di María, Riyad Mahrez, Hakim Ziyech, Carlos Vela, Ousmane Dembélé and Marco Asensio.
Federico Chiesa, Ferran Torres, Dejan Kulusevski, Antony, Jérémy Doku, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Marcus Edwards and Francisco Trincão are some of the best under-23 right wingers in FIFA 22.
